AskEraser: Safer Search

Unknowingly, my post yesterday on privacy seems to be coincidentally very timely. Ask.com has just released AskEraser. It’s a feature tied to their search tool that allows a person to search the internet anonymously. Search Engine Land has the full story here.

By the way, very cool move from the folks at Ask. We’ll see if Google reacts…

    I agree. Very cool move. I read a different article that mentioned Google, Yahoo, et all keep personal search information stored for 18 months.
